New Website Coming Soon...

Originally, we had hoped to have our new website up and running by July 1, 2008 (our current website is woefully outdated).  Our web design consultant now tells us that the new website should be ready near the middle of this month.  We're looking forward to it and hope you are too!

ASHRAE High-Performance Building Design Certification

Last Wednesday, June 25, 2008, ASHRAE offered its first High-Performance Building Design Professional (HBDP) Certification exam in conjunction with their Annual Meeting in Salt Lake City, Utah.  56 people took the first exam.

ASHRAE has developed the HBDP certification program in cooperation with the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) as a way of recognizing a design professional's expertise in the high performance building field.  According to ASHRAE, designers who earn the HBDP certification have demonstrated a well-rounded understanding of how HVAC&R design is integrated into high performance buildings to achieve sustainable design.
